Desert Jet is proud to announce its membership in, and support of, the Air Charter Association of North America (ACANA).
ACANA was formed in 2007 to provide a benchmark for professionalism and excellence in the air charter industry. Its mission is to enhance and foster the air charter industry by promoting best practices and professionalism, representing ACANA members’ collective regulatory interests, and educating consumers about the benefits of private aviation.
Desert Jet joined ACANA with the goal of promoting harmonious and mutually-beneficial relationships between air charter companies and air charter brokers. ACANA’s guidelines for membership has elevated the professionalism of the industry by placing emphasis on ethical business behavior and the formulation of best practices.
One of the greatest benefits of membership for Desert Jet has been an increased understanding of the vital role that ACANA brokers play in the charter industry, not only as representatives of the industry to consumers, but also as partners with charter operators.
“Membership in ACANA has been a rewarding and valuable experience to us,” said Denise Wilson, President of Desert Jet. “I recommend that all air charter operators consider joining the organization to help shape the industry’s future.”
