Cessna Citation CJ3
Using the proven method of improving on past versions, the Citation CJ3 is here to play. Unveiled at the 2002 NBAA convention, the Citation CJ3 is a stretch of the previous model, all in the line of the CJ family of Citation jets. With a cabin that is nearly 16 feet long, this version gives you even more room to stretch out. That stretch is also accompanied with longer wings, which allows the Citation CJ3 to have more lift and less drag. These improvements have made for an airplane that is incredibly efficient.
The additional stretch in the cabin over the CJ2 makes for an even roomier cabin, which allows for increased productivity. Long-legged people even have room to stretch out and enjoy their time in the plane. Seven passengers can enjoy the bevy of natural light afforded by the fourteen windows. In addition to the increased room in the cabin, there is a tremendous amount of baggage space available.
The avionics suite in the Citation CJ3 is the top of the line with the Collins Pro Line 21. Many pilots have commented on how user friendly the system is. The technological improvements do not stop in the cockpit. The airplane also benefits from improved engines. The FJ44 engines by Williams put out more thrust, all the while using less fuel than previous versions. All these improvements allow the Citation CJ3 to carry more weight, farther, using less fuel.
